Cyber Monday Video Game Deals

What Makes A Real Cyber Monday Video Game Deal?

Games age in very different ways, and that decides whether a markdown is meaningful. A first-party Nintendo title tends to hold its price for years. A yearly sports release, on the other hand, gets cheaper once the next edition is near, because buyers want the current rosters. Knowing which kind you are looking at saves you from paying early for a game that will be marked down anyway.

• Check the platform in the title. A PS5 disc will not play on a Switch, and the listing may carry the platform in small text.
• Look for the word Standard, Deluxe or Ultimate. Extra editions often include season passes you may not want.
• Physical copies can be lent and resold. Digital codes cannot, though they download straight to your account.
• Be careful with obscure or unusually cheap listings. Confirm the seller and the region on the page.

This page shows 12 games with a discount right now, sorted from the biggest.

Which Video Games Should You Buy?

Build a shortlist around who will play and on what. The PS5 side of this page leans toward big single-player and sports games, while the Switch side is full of family-friendly and party titles that keep their value.

Gifts are the easiest case: pick the platform first, then match the game to the person rather than the discount.

PS5 Games Cyber Monday Deals: What The Grid Covers

PS5 games are the larger share of this page. The grid carries sports releases such as Madden NFL 27, College Football 27 and NBA 2K27, big single-player titles like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Black Myth: Wukong, and online or co-op picks such as Borderlands 4 and Street Fighter 6. Every one is a disc listing or a platform-specific edition, so check the words PS5 or PlayStation 5 in the title.

Sports games lose value fastest. Once next season's edition nears, the current one is usually the first to be marked down, so buying a sports title early at a small discount is rarely smart. Story games age more slowly, which makes a markdown on Spider-Man 2 more meaningful than the same percentage on a yearly release.

PS5 console prices have been raised, which pushes some shoppers toward games they already own the hardware for. If you still need the console, the PS5 deals page lists current options. Searches for PC games also spike at this time of year, but this page tracks console games sold on Amazon, not PC store sales.

Nintendo Switch Games Vs PS5 Games: Where Do Discounts Land?

Nintendo's own titles are the stubborn ones. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hold their prices for years, which means a small cut on them can still be the real deal. Third-party Switch games, such as Sonic Superstars, Dog Man: Mission Impawsible and Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy Definitive Edition, tend to move more freely.

Switch 2 owners should read the listing: many Switch titles run on the newer console, but the edition in the title decides what you get. The Switch 2 had a price increase earlier, so the Switch 2 deals page is the place to check the hardware.

• Gifts for kids: Mario Kart, Sonic and Dog Man on Switch.
• Sports fans: current-year PS5 editions.
• Long single-player runs: Spider-Man 2 or Black Myth: Wukong.

Pick the person and the platform before the discount, and you will rarely overpay for a game that sits unopened.

When Do Cyber Monday Video Game Deals Drop?

Mark Monday, November 30, 2026. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26 and Black Friday is November 27, so game discounts often run across all of those days instead of landing on one.

Amazon has not announced 2026 dates. If it follows 2025, when Black Friday Week ran from November 20 through December 1, you could see game offers appear during the preceding week. That is a pattern, not a promise.

Walmart has its Cyber Monday deals set for November 30 to December 2, and Best Buy's sale runs November 29 to 30. This site checks Amazon prices every day and sorts by discount, so a quick look each morning will show you what moved.

Game discounts also change by format. Physical copies of big releases may move first, and digital codes can follow later. Keep a short wish list and check it daily so you notice when a title you actually want drops.
